Im so mad at my computer situation...

Journal Entry: Thu May 8, 2008, 9:57 PM
I am not happy. Okay i install Windows XP 64 and its a trash program, there is very little support for it, it HATES my nvidia Quadro card, or at least it hates the drivers. So every time i start up it freezes at the "welcome" screen and i have to do a hard reboot and hope it works the next time. Then i find out i cant use half of my old programs cause they are not made to run a 64-bit environment. Gah, im not a computer genius, so its mostly my fault, but still, all i wanna do is work on my freaking Dragon! Im going to make this thing dual boot to lunix but i cant do that till i get windows stable. My friend at work says i should use Vista, but Maya 8.5 wont work on vista only Maya 2008 and that doesn't do me any good. I don't have Maya 2008. *dies* Why cant we just have a computer that just WORKS. Oh wait... that would be a Mac, but i hate those so screw it!
